Our automatic gates have become so popular that we have created a page just for them.

Our automatic gates are now very affordable, especially when pre-ordered with one of our sliding or swinging gates. We use quality Italian gate automation products that are affordable, reliable and easy to use. All our gate openers carry a separate 36 month warranty.

But that’s not all! SGS Fencing and Gates can connect your gate to a push button inside your house, a video-intercom system so you can see and talk to whomever is at the gate, or even your mobile phone so that you can open the gate by simply calling it!

Automatic Sliding Gates

Our automatic sliding gates are our most affordable and popular type of automatic gate.

Once the gate is in place we will arrange a qualified installer to professionally fit your gate. Depending on the weight and length of your gate, we will fit you with the appropriate gate opener.

Once fitted all you need to do to open or close the gate is press the remote control. We can provide you with a whole range of accessories such as keypads, intercoms and automatic locks so you can get even more out of your gate.

Automatic Swinging Gates

Our automatic swinging gates are affordable and can be single or double swing.

Our swing gate openers are easy to fit and thanks to their modern Italian design look great with all swinging gates. For that touch of class we can provide you with underground openers that are hardly visible and look particularly elegant when opening or closing.

Once the gate is in place we will arrange a qualified installer to professionally fit your gate. Depending on the weight and wing-length of your gate we will fit you with the appropriate gate opener. Once fitted all you need to do to open or close the gate is press the remote control.

Like our sliding gates, our swinging gates can also come with accessories such as keypads, intercoms and automatic locks.

Commercial & Industrial Automatic Gates

For our heavy duty gates we use a special line of gate automation products. These products are specifically designed for reliability, durability and high duty cycle operation. We use our heavy duty automatic gates in places like car-parks, unit complexes and other areas with frequent traffic.

Together with our heavy duty gates we also provide Access Control Systems such as Swipecard entrance, Auto-Exit and Timers.

Safety Beams

Safety beams are infra-red devices that prevent your gate from closing (or opening) when an object, like your car or pet, is in the way. SGS recommends the use of safety beams with all automatic gates.

Keypads

Keypads are used to open and close the gate without the need for a remote control. All you need to do is key-in your secret PIN code. Our keypads can also be used as push buttons if desired.

Electric Locks

Our automatic locks ensure that your gate is secured by electrically locking it after the gate has closed. All our locks can be released manually if needed. Electric locks are used where an extra measure of security is desired.

Intercoms

Intercoms allow you to speak and even see who is at your gate. Our intercoms can also be used to open the gate from inside your home or office.

Mobile Phone Access

Our Mobile Phone Access technology allows you to open or close the gate by simply calling it!
This option can be used together with your provided remote controls.

Mobile Phone Intercoms

Our GSM intercom can directly call a number nominated by you, such as your mobile phone number.
With a GSM intercom there is no need to install anything inside your house!

When a person arrives at your gate all they need to do is press the button and they will be transferred to your nominated number. The GSM intercom also allows you to open the gate remotely by 'calling it' or pressing the designated key on your phone. Solar Powered Automatic gates

Solar powered automatic gates offer an environmentally friendly way to enjoy your automatic gate. Solar powered automatic gates can also be a good option when mains power is far away or not available. We use a separate line of gate automation that is specifically designed to work on solar power.
